August Shoot Week: I had a stunning realisation when I woke up on Sunday. Today was the day I would finally meet the entire crew. As you know, our team had put a lot of thought into pre-shoot planning, and there were many factors to take into account, such as carefully choosing clothing and makeup artists. The fact that I was about to embark on a rather nerve-wracking adventure for the first time didn't change the fact that I felt incredibly grateful to the team for inviting me.

Before deciding to plan your own lingerie shoot, you might be curious to learn more about what happens in the background.I know I was, for sure! I've described my experience to help you understand what to anticipate when it's time to see americans put on lovebird's underwear and strike a posture.

IT'S TIME TO BEAUTIFY
Disclaimer: When it comes to choosing a hairstyle, we are very picky. While having your hair professionally groomed for a boudoir photo is undoubtedly advised, we chose to bring Arfa Idresi, one of Delhi's top makeup artists. She will handle everything, even using a 1.25-inch iron to curl hair into loose curls after it has been straightened. We are ready to go after applying a layer or two of hairspray and some volumizing makeups on the faces. However, the photographer at Anmol Arora Studios, who was one of our best girls, cautioned us that approximately 30% of cosmetics is lost with the camera. That implied that we would require more makeup than normal to highlight my characteristics. We succeeded in giving our models a smouldering taupe smokey eye with dramatic lashes, a delicate glow, and soft pink lips. We made sure to let the makeup artist know that this was going to be a photo shoot so that she could choose formulas and colours that would look well in pictures.


Creating a MOOD!
We served our models a drink of wine when they arrived at the studio, and we spread out the lingerie selections on the bed. We collectively decided on the three outfits that best represented variety in terms of colour, fit, and features. She adjusted the lighting in the studio while getting ready behind the curtain. She also turned up a killer playlist, which is essential for setting the mood. We got started after a few test shots.

GET SET AND GO!
For the initial round of photographs, we allowed her to remain dressed in the robe, which undoubtedly made her feel more at ease. To my relief, Mr. Anmol Arora gave her very specific instructions for several postures, including how to tilt her chin and where to position my hands. She made little tweaks when she got the hang of things, like looking squarely into the camera, bending one knee, or arching my back further. Before She could stop herself, I gave her the order to throw the robe into a pool on the floor. Astonishingly, She looked completely at ease while wearing a cassis-colored lovebird's contour bra and pant combination and patent 4.5" heels.

We changed into two more outfits and moved around the space to capture a wide variety of stances and viewpoints. Our model alternated between lying on her side on a fur-covered bench next to the windowsill in a lace teddy, stretching out on the bed in a half-backbend, and standing up in front of a white exposed brick wall while being shot at from behind by Mr. Anmol. Mr. Anmol warned us that we might even feel a little exhausted the next day because some of the positions clearly required a little more strength and flexibility than others. As a result, we expressed our newfound respect for models. He always made sure to show us a shot or two before changing into a new costume.
